Official Rules
By joining the server you acknowledge these rules in full. Violations may result in a ban at staff discretion.
Most importantly, we want this server to feel welcoming and enjoyable for all peers. Respect each other, communicate well, and contribute positively to the atmosphere we're building together. When everyone puts in the effort, the server becomes a much better experience for the entire community. Most all interactions regarding RP can be solved in the server (outside of blatant rule breaks). Follow these rules and you will be fine — use your head please.
Must be the age of 18+ to be in the Solo Roleplay Discord and FiveM server.
Any threats or attempts to DDoS the server or a member of the community will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban with no chance of appeal.
Absolutely no hate speech or discrimination towards anybody.
English is the primary language for Solo Roleplay. You must be able to speak fluent English.
Basic Guidelines
- No Racism, Sexism, Verbal Abuse, Hate Speech, or any kind of discriminatory speech or actions.
- No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) — you cannot use a vehicle to run over another player with no interaction.
- No RDM (Random Deathmatch) — you cannot randomly kill another player on the server. There must be RP and interaction leading up to a killing.
- No Power Gaming — Power Gaming is the act of creating forceful roleplay or using mechanics to gain leverage in an RP situation. Examples include job camping and attacking players stuck in animations.
- No Harmful Meta Gaming — examples of harmful meta: watching a Twitch stream and obtaining information for your character, or telling someone on Discord "you can find this object here." Examples of non-harmful meta: sending GoPro footage to a lawyer, telling your friend about something funny that happened in the server, or obtaining OOC consent for a situation.
- No Fail RP — examples include baiting police or EMS to an area to rob them, disturbing an RP scene you are not involved in, and not valuing your life.
- No Combat Logging — a player must not leave the server during an RP scene. If an accidental crash happens, fly back into your last location. If unable to return, notify the players involved or open a Discord ticket to inform staff.
- No Suicide RP.
- No Identity Theft — stealing a person's name or server identity is not allowed.
- No Restart Exploitation — no crime 15 minutes before and after a server restart.
- No Exploiting — exploits include but are not limited to: using emotes to avoid getting shot mid-gunfight and speed boosting.
- New Life Rule — if you get into a situation that involves your character going down, you cannot remember any events that happened leading to your "death" unless reminded by a friend or witness who was at the scene, OR if your bodycam or camera was not destroyed or taken.
Criminal Regulations
- You are only allowed to have a maximum of five players engaging in any criminal act. Criminal acts include but are not limited to: robbing banks, stores, civilians, etc.
- You may only have a maximum of three hostages when it comes to hostage negotiations.
- You are allowed to have two spotters in addition to the five committing the criminal act. Spotters can only relay information — they cannot act as a getaway driver, shooter, etc.
- No chain robberies — you must wait 10 minutes before committing another robbery after robbing a bank, convenience store, or jewelry store.
- You cannot take your own gang or friends hostage.
- In Gang Turfs and Crime Related Areas, expect potential hostility from other criminals or gang members. However, robbing or killing in these areas should not be on-sight — interaction must still occur unless you are at war with a rival group.
- You may not camp Job Related Areas or Crime Related Areas in hopes of an easy target.
- You cannot take a hostage to the police and demand the release of your friend(s).
- You must have valid RP reasoning to rob someone, and you cannot continuously rob the same person.
Gang RP
- Gangs must follow all regular rules and criminal regulations.
- Gangs cannot make any public hangouts or businesses their "Turf."
- Gangs can only establish one area as their Turf.
- Turfs will act as known hangouts for gangs and will serve as a place for gang(s) to meet.
- When a gang is on their turf they are allowed to hang out in quantities more than 5. However, they cannot use this to their advantage and lead cops or civilians there. If committing a crime, the rule of only 5 in a group still applies.
- Gangs can only have a maximum of 15 members. (This will evolve as we can host more players.)
- Gang Wars must be organized and established before taking place. Gangs cannot break server rules during a war just because both gangs agree — both gangs must establish a mutual understanding and agreed-upon terms before a gang war can begin.
Bans & Warnings
- Bans are at the discretion of the staff team. Most rule breaks will result in warning(s) which will lead to bans if ignored. Major infractions will result in an immediate ban.
- If you have been banned, you may open a ban appeal. Staff will reach out if your appeal is accepted or denied.
- If you have been banned by our anticheat, please open a ticket via Discord.
Reporting & Staff
No micro-modding — if your RP is disrupted by players breaking rules, report it using /report or open a Discord ticket. Never break character to call out a rule violation mid-scene — let staff handle it.
No staff impersonation — you may not impersonate a member of staff in or out of the city.
// Believe your ban was issued in error?
